Back to Brown Mountain: 35s, a Lift, and Rocky Ridge
Returning to Brown Mountain with a 2.5-inch lift and 35-inch tires changed the way my Jeep handled the rocks.
I returned to Brown Mountain OHV in Pisgah National Forest with a very different Jeep. My 2022 Wrangler Willys now had a 2.5-inch Rough Country lift and 35-inch Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires, installed by East Carolina Off-Road. This time I headed onto Rocky Ridge to find out how the upgrades performed on technical sections and rocky climbs. The video captures the trail sounds, scenic driving, careful rock crawling, and the challenge of descending the ridge. Compared with my first stock-Jeep outing here, the difference was noticeable.
